The Importance of Early Dental Visits

Early care focuses on prevention, education, and early detection. The BC Dental Association recommends a child’s first dental visit occur within six months of their first tooth erupting, or by their first birthday.
Introducing children to the dentist early helps:

Reduce Anxiety: Familiarity with the office can make future visits more comfortable.
Monitor Growth: Regular exams track jaw development, tooth eruption, and bite alignment.
Protect Primary Teeth: Baby teeth guide permanent teeth into place and support proper speech and chewing.
Guide Parents: We offer practical advice on teething, thumb-sucking, nutrition, and home brushing routines.

Children’s Dental Services We Provide

We offer a full range of preventative and restorative treatments for young smiles. Our common services for kid’s dental care in Quesnel include:

Routine Cleanings & Exams: Gentle cleanings remove plaque while thorough exams monitor development to enable early treatment when necessary.
Dental Sealants: Protective coatings applied to permanent molars to guard against deep groove decay.
Fluoride Applications: Topical treatments that strengthen enamel and increase decay resistance.
Tooth-Colored Fillings: Durable, natural-looking restorations for primary or permanent teeth damaged by decay.

Tooth Fillings

When minor tooth decay or small fractures occur, natural-looking tooth-colored (composite) fillings restore both the structure and strength of your tooth while blending naturally with your natural smile.

Tooth Extractions

When a tooth is too severely damaged, decayed, or compromised to be saved, a gentle extraction removes the problematic tooth to protect your oral health.

Sports Mouth Guards

Custom-fitted athletic mouthguards protect your teeth, gums, and jaw from potential impacts during sports and recreational activities. Designed for a precise fit, they offer reliable protection without restricting breathing.

Sedation Dentistry (Oral, Nitrous Oxide)

Feeling anxious about your dental visit? You’re not alone—and we’re here to help. We offer safe and effective oral sedation and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help you feel calm and comfortable throughout your appointment without putting you fully to sleep.

Routine care is the foundation of long-term oral health. Our preventative services focus on regular exams, digital imaging, and early detection to protect your natural teeth and prevent issues.

Same Day Crowns

Have a broken or missing tooth? We offer same-day crowns and bridges to help restore your smile quickly and comfortably. Using modern digital scanning and in-office milling technology, CEREC allows us to design, create, and place a permanent crown in a single visit.

Dental Crowns

A crown is a protective cover for a tooth that has suffered extensive decay, cracking, or structural damage. Custom-fabricated to match your natural tooth shape, it helps restore your biting function.

Dental Bridges

If you are missing one or more adjacent teeth, a custom dental bridge can fill the gap. Anchored securely to neighbouring natural teeth or implants, bridges help restore your oral function.

Teeth Bonding

Dental bonding uses a tooth-colored composite resin to repair minor imperfections such as small chips, gaps, or spots of discoloration. It is a conservative option that usually requires minimal tooth preparation.

Smile Makeover

Considering a full-mouth smile makeover? Let’s build a plan around your goals. Whether you want to enhance aesthetics, restore function, or address several dental concerns, we’ll guide you through a personalized consultation and create a comprehensive treatment plan.

Teeth Whitening

Professional whitening treatments help lighten surface stains caused by food, drink, and age. We offer controlled, efficient options to help restore a brighter appearance to your smile.

Veneers

Address uneven spacing, minor misalignment, worn enamel, or persistent discoloration with a single treatment solution with veneers.

Root Canal Treatment

Experiencing dental pain? Your tooth may still be saved. If the tooth is restorable, a root canal can help relieve pain and preserve your natural tooth—often in a single visit.

Invisalign treatment offers a discreet way to straighten misaligned teeth using custom-made, clear removable aligners. Digital scanning allows us to plan your treatment step-by-step, helping you work toward better alignment and improved bite function without traditional metal brackets.
